I'm Erin Vazdauskas, a self-taught artist and the heart behind Chickadee Art Studio in Brunswick, Maine. Art has always been a source of joy, exploration, and connection for me - and I created Chickadee Art Studio to share that joy with others.

At Chickadee Art Studio, creativity is not reserved for professionals; it belongs to everyone. I believe deeply in the power of making things by hand - whether it's painting, crafting, or simply playing with color - to unlock confidence, mindfulness, and self-expression in both children and adults.

My work, and the work I encourage in others, is rooted in curiosity and courage. I want each person who walks through the studio doors to feel free to experiment, make mistakes, and celebrate their own unique voice. Through classes and events, I strive to create an inviting space where people can connect with their creativity and leave a little more inspired.

Chickadees are small but full of spirit - just like the creative spark in each of us. That's what I aim to nurture every day at Chickadee Art Studio.
